Situated right in the heart of Amsterdam in a centuries old building, it's a testament to my design ethos: worldly, eclectic and colourful while still maintaining an understated elegance and sense of harmony.
Spotlighting architectural flourishes in the kitchen and hallway through the use of colour and gloss, creating playful colour contrasts that enliven the space.
Vintage furniture and traditional patterns like toile de jouy are given a fresh treatment, combining the old with the new to create visual points of interest without overwhelming,
A Chinese influence is evident in the owner’s taste, but this is elegantly combined with the surrounding Dutch architecture.
Carefully curated art and sculpture pieces draw the eye and add depth.
Painting all the rooms in the same shade of soft beige gives a harmonious undertone, allowing the colourful and patterned elements to shine without clashing with each other.
